Prospective students and their families can go to the Undergraduate Programs and Admissions website  or contact Student Recruitment & Advising by phone at 604.822.2699 or by email at ubc.tours@ubc.ca for a tour that includes information on academics and student life.

The Summer Campus Tours for tourists and other community guests that were previously based in the Studeent Union Building (SUB) are no longer offered.

Museum of Anthropology

The Museum of Anthropology offers both group and self-guided tours. Call 604.822.5087 for more information and tour times. Guided group tours are eligible for a group admission rate and a custom tour. To book a guided group tour or to find out about school programs for elementary and secondary school students, contact the Booking Coordinator at 604.822.3825 or bookings@moa.ubc.ca .

Botanical Garden and Centre for Plant Research

The UBC Botanical Garden offers free guided tours, group tours and/or class visits. Call 604.822.4208 for more information. Two weeks’ notice is required, and group rates are available.

Greenheart Canopy Walkway at UBC Botanical Garden

The Greenheart Canopy Walkway at UBC Botanical Garden offers fully guided tours daily on the hour from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Perfect for school groups and offers specialized programming to suit grade specific curriculum. Tour groups and conference groups are also welcome. Nitobe Memorial Garden

To book a free guided tour of the Nitobe Garden, call 604.822.4208. Two weeks’ notice is required. More information about admission prices and the gardens can be found by visiting www.nitobe.org.

Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery

The Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery offers free guided tours of its current exhibition and selected works from the University of British Columbia’s Outdoor Art Collection.  Tours must be booked in advance and the maximum number in a group is 25 people. The Outdoor Art Collection includes over 24 works of art that are located throughout the UBC campus. The tour varies in length from 1 hour — to see works near the Belkin — to 3 hours for every site on the map. Chan Centre

The Chan Centre for the Performing Arts boasts three unique venues: the superb Chan Shun Concert Hall; the flexible Telus Studio Theatre; and the intimate Royal Bank Cinema. For tours of the Chan Centre, contact Kristi Fuoco at kristi.fuoco@ubc.ca or call 604.822.1241.

Pacific Museum of the Earth

The Pacific Museum of the Earth offers programs to help schools, summer camps, and the general public learn about our planet. Programs include guided tours, a mineral properties workshop, and a rock identification workshop. All programming is free of charge and scheduled by appointment. Irving K. Barber Learning Centre

Sustainability tours at UBC are a great way to see sustainability in action. There is a self-guided Sustainability Walking Tour, or you can request a guided Green Building Tour, for a behind-the-scenes look at specific green buildings. .

Campus & Community Planning Self-Guided Walking Tours of UTown@UBC

Campus and Community Planning offers four self-guided walking tours of UBC’s different neighborhoods, each focusing on a different region of campus and highlighting attractions, housing and community amenities in UTown@UBC, UBC’s vibrant residential community.
